I’m a 40-something nerd from Massachusetts. I mean nerd in the good way, of course.

D. Penwood is the name of an old D&D character of mine. I feel this name is fitting for this blog since Dr. Danneth Penwood was a bard (Loremaster, 2nd edition) who wielded power stemming from his writings.

I’ve always been a person of many hobbies, and I hope to share my experiences with those hobbies on here. Maybe I’ll throw in some non-hobby stuff as well. In fact, I probably will.

I have three main hobbies at the moment, but that is always subject to change. In no particular order:

• Tabletop board games and RPGs

• IT and Web Development

• I started reading a book

Here’s a partial list of past hobbies: aquariums, candle making, model rocketry, counted cross-stitch, road trips, circuit board electronics, wine tasting, orchestrated movie soundtracks, pin collecting, fishing, jigsaw puzzles, and others I’m sure I’m forgetting.
